The picture is even clearer now before they hit the field as that Eagles/Lions Tilt is a final. The Eagles beat "Restore the Roar" and that helps the Bears in the NFC North. The Lions losing though puts the Cowboys a 1/2 out in the NFC East with that NFL Week 17 sticking out like Jerry on the Cowboys Sideline. Will the weather play a factor? Can Romo and the Cowboys come up big versus a Bears Team that is passed desperate and not looking for extended hibernation anytime soon?

There is a huge problem going into to this one. If the "Fight for George" (George Halas Trophy) started as we go to press...neither the Cowboys or Bears would be involved in the Tourney and that for Cowboys and Bears Nation is real and a very sobering thought.

The Cowboys need a healthy run game with RB DeMarco Murray getting his touches but not only as a RB but WR. Romo has even more weapons on the outside as WR Miles Austin is back into the fold. The Bears "D" is on pace to give the most points in Franchise History and for the Cowboys that Tape on the "Monster of the Midway" doesn't lie. Can the Cowboys sustain long drives and put 7's up on the Bears? The Bears look for Turnovers more than stopping yuo and if the 'Boys don;t turn it over lookout they should be in solid shape. Cowboys are 3rd in PPG at 27.3 at that bodes well for them coming into this one. The Bears "D" in turn is #28 in PPG allowed at 27.7 and 32nd in Run Defense as well as 29th in Total Yards...Romo  you and Dez Bryant of Jordan Brand among others get after it!

The Bears on the other hand haven't had issues on Offense as QB Josh McCown has been more than just a 2nd string QB as he has been playing at a Jay Cutler-Like Level as the Bears QB Production hasn't dropped off any. The Bears also have been featuring RB Matt Forte even more and that has gotten them into some 2nd and 3rd and short for down and distance. The Cowboys Secondary ranked  32nd in the Pass and the Bears know this as 2nd-year WR Alson Jeffrey has been MEGAtron on Lake  Michigan going O-Zone Layer on all Corners and Safeties. Can that Cowboys Secondary slow the Bears WRs and Vertical Passing Game down?  Cowboys are also 32nd in Total Yards allowed on Defense and by now Bluedude Heads your thinking Penn or Drake Relays?

There is a whole lot of 32nd Ranks going on in this one and something has to give...

Winner: COWBOYS 38-34 as they have a shootout weather permitting as they go 7 on 7 after intermission
