The BCS comes out and shouldn't surprise you as the Ohio State Buckeyes fall into the #2 slot right behind #1 FSU as both they still have work to do on a few different fronts. The Auburn Tigers meanwhile did the Buckeyes a favor by beating 'Bama as they sit in the Wild Card Slot if you will. Yes the War Eagles are crying about being #3 but they have one loss as the Buckeyes like FSU are undefeated and that is calling a Spade a Spade. 'Bama falls to #4 and they are still in it as they need two of the three teams in front of them to lose their Conference Championship Games and do not rule that out. Mizzou is sitting at #5 as they get the #3 Auburn Tigers in Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game and Auburn if they beat Mizzou soundly may then make a case.
The BCS Standings as of December 1, 2013
Note: In parenthesis Last Week's Ranking
1. #NOLES (2) 12-0 (8-0 ACC) vs Duke ACC Championship Game Dec. 7
2. #Buckeyes (3) 12-0 (8-0 Big Ten) vs Sparty Big 10 Championship Dec. 7
3. #WarEagles (4) 11-1 (7-1 SEC West Champ) vs Mizzou SEC Championship Dec. 7
4. #RollTide (1) 11-1 (7-1 SEC West Runner Up) Idle needs help
5. #Mizzou (6) 11-1 (7-1 SEC East Champ) vs #3 Auburn SEC Championship Game Dec. 7
The Two Games to watch are...
Buckeyes vs Michigan State in Indy....
Mizzou vs Auburn in Atlanta....
If both lose and it could happen it could still be 'Bama and FSU and how bout them Honey Crisp Apples...
Note: What is looming over all of this is what happens to FSU QB Jameis Winston...that could throw a Monkey Wrench in everything and if he doesn't play in the National Championship Game the below four teams might hammer the 'Noles....just sayin'!
