Talking the Top Five Run-Producing Duo's in the NL one has to think the NL Central Redbirds, Buccos, and Red Legs are in that Top 5. What about the "Boys in Blue" as he doubled up with Dodgers 1B A-Gon? Then there is the D-Backs Goldschmidt and who is joining him to make the D-Backs a Top 5 Duo?
Top 5 Run-Producing Duo's in the NL through September 11, 2013
Note: Number is combined RBI's from Both Players
1. Phillips/Bruce #RedLegs 194
2. Goldschmidt/Prado #DBacks 180
3. Craig/Holliday #Redbirds 178
4. El Toro/Cutch 22 #Buccos 167
(El Toro left and "Cutch 22" right)
5. Cuddyer/Rosario #Rockies 154
@DatDudeBP 2B Brandon Phillips and Jay Bruce have carried the Red Legs Offense as they have been clutch all season long. Bruce is right there with Phillips and Votto when talking the Red Legs Pecking Order.
Paul Goldschmidt has had a monster 2nd half and Martin Prado the best Hot Corners you never hear about. The D-Backs needed some more pitching in the NL West to stay in it then talking Dodgers no one could have put that fire out.
Allen Craig has been all that in that 3rd hole for the Redbirds and he needs to get back in that Line Up. Holliday has always been around a Hundo when talking getting Ducks in off the pond..a Solid Run-Producer he is.
The New Pittsburgh Pirates known as the Buccos have a Top 10 Player in the Show in Andrew McCutchen and they have an emerging star in Hot Corner "EL Toro" Pedro Alvarez or the East Coast Version of "Panda Smash". Can they close the deal for the Pirates and have them playing in the Late October?
Rockies
OF Michael Cuddyer has had one heck of a year and a year when both Rocks Stars Troy Tulowitzki and "Car-Go" Carlos Gonzalez both go down he has more then carried that Rocks Offense at times.
