C'mon you leave the Ballpark in the wee hours of the morning with few things open for a good meal and on top of all that misery you lost an 18-Inning Fight. The Baltimore Orioles then get Motel Room Service and Brunch delivered to their Clubhouse only to get Rays RHP Alex Cobb throwing like he is not an "EARTHLING" to slice out of the O's Playoff hopes.

Oriole Nation loses again as the Rays beat them on 8 hours rest 5-1 as Ray RHP Cobb goes to work on the Bump knowing that then O's came off of a demoralizing 18-Inning Loss, Continental Breakfast, Vending machine Snacks, and Visiting Clubhouse Rations. Cobb struck out 12 O's Hitters as he almost went Complete Job as he was chased in he 9th with one out. He allowed five hits and one run and a free pass to go with those twelve K's. Everyone in that O's Line Up had at least one strike out as O's second baseman Alexi Casilla took the "Hat Trick" (3 K's). O's CF Nate McLouth was he only one not to strikeout vs Cobb.

The Game was scoreless through 4 1/2 when Rays CF Desmond Jennings went three-run bomb off O's Starter Miguel Gonzalez. Gonzo would pitch one more inning to end his day at six innings allowing three runs on the bomb on just two hits as he walked five an struck out two.

The Rays set atop the LA Wild Card by one full game over the #2 seed the Tribe. The O's fall three games out and now find themselves in a must-win situation the remaining eight games...that is a problem Charm City...a huge problem!
