It was a forgone conclusion around Christmas 2K12 that Blazers Rookie Point God Damian Lillard would be the front runner for 2012-13 NBA Rookie of the Year. The Weber State Product took the Logo by storm and it is absolutely scary to think of the prospects of this young man in the future for the Blazers.

From the jump in the 2012 Vegas NBA Sin City Summer League he was "It" the "Wow" Factor as he dazzled every night and led the Summer League in Scoring as then Grizz Combo G Josh Selby was runner-up. The Numbers Lillard put up for a Rookie at the Point Guard Position in  a League loaded with under 27 year old Point that can flat out play is astounding. Uncle Russ of OKC, the ADIzero West Side Story Report Hero D-Rose of See Red, 2012-13 1st Year All-Stars Jrue Holiday (Sixers) and "Kyrie for Mayor" Irving (Cavs) the Logo is filled with Thrill-Seekers at the Point.

D.L.'s Stats for 2012-13 for #RipCity and #BLAZERmania:

82 Games
38.6 Minutes per game (tied for 2nd in the NBA with Kobe)
19.0 ppg (12th in NBA)
6.5 assts (13th in NBA)
185 Money Ball Made (NBA Rookie Record)
84.4 FT%
42.9 FG%
36.8% 3pt FG%

@Dame_Lillard (Twitter Handle) dominated and 2012 #1 Pick Anthony Davis came on late it wasn't even a though to put him in front of Lillard.

Weber State...Oakland, California...and Rose City and Rip City Nation Stand Up? for the 2012-13 NBA Rookie of the Year..Congrats from the Bluedude and Bluedude Sportstalk.
