"FIGHT for RED"...the LOGO's Top Head Coach goes to Mile High NUGGETS Lead Man GEORGE KARL....who was Top 5? #NBALeadMan

The Top Lead Man in the Logo for 2012-13 was a fight to the finish. The trophy is named after the late great Red Auerbach of the C's and at Bluedude Sportstalk the Award is commonly referred to as the "Fight for Red".  

The Votes came in and there were more than a few Lead Man in the Logo for 2012-13 that were deserving like Karl of the Nuggets who claimed he had no "Stars" and that proved evident by the Nuggets 1st round exit. He said he didn't have any Stars I didn't. Coach Thibs of See Red with No ADIzero Hero D-Rose all season and to land the 5th seed in the East. Coach Spo and that 27-Game "W" Streak and who cares he had King James they still needed to be coached up. Coach Hollins and the Grind House as they top the 2011-12 Season. Plenty of Names and one award to the best in 2012-13.

Karl's Work was impressive though to say the least as the Nugs had the Logo's Best Home Record for 2012-13 at 38-3 and finished 3rd in the West. He has definitely put in the work we had started way back with the CBA's Albany Patroons with Star Players Vincent Askew and Mario Elie (current Nets Assistant and NBA Champ with Rockets n Spurs). Then off to the Cavs and Mark Price and Larry Nance to name a few. Then the Seattle Supersonics Karl's Best Years with players like 2013 HOF PG Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Nate McMillan, and Detlef Schrempf to name a few.

Spo led White Hot to the aforementioned 27-Game Win Streak....

Pops Spurs always seems to be in the Top 5 for what he was expected to have the Record he had...

Woodson led the Knicks to their best finish since the Riley's Knicks in '93-'94...and had them playing Defense

Hollins did a fantastic Job for a Coach that blocked out not having a contract for the 2013-14 season in place yet....the Grizz trying tom make a splash like the Nets and go ask Phil...get Real!
