The Boston Red Sox have lost another Closer in Joel Hanrahan as h will need "Tommy John" Surgery and the Red Sox keep rolling but how long. They lost #1 Closer Andrew Bailey but Bailey is on the D.L. and could return in a few weeks. The Red Sox have not needed to much Pen Work as both Lester and Buchholz keep mowing down hitters and W's. The Worse Case Scenario for the Bo Sox if Bailey goes down for 2013 and right now he trying to get back. As we go to press there is a three-way tie in the AL East with the Yanks, O's, and the Carmines sitting atop the Junior Circuit East.
The Anaheim Might Ducks are now playing with fire as they couldn't close out the Red Wings in Hockey Town USA last night and now here comes the dreaded Game 7 on the Pond in Anaheim. And guess who was the Hero in Extras for the Wings...if not Datsyuk it has to be Henrik Zetterberg and that's who it was. Game Seven will be Sunday and if the Wings win they will get what they want or don't want depending on how you look at it...the rival Chicago Blackhawks. If the Ducks win they will get they hot rival and defending Lord Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings in the "Battle of Southern California Hockey".
The Boston Bruins looked dazed and confused in their elimination game with the Leafs of Toronto Ontario and now it's time to grab the Passport and be on your way. The Leafs were up 2-0 midway through the 3rd frame when the B's Defenseman Zdeno Chara made it 2-1. The B's couldn't get the game-tying goal though with a little over 8 minutes to work and now they will be in Game 6 in the Big Jumbo Jet...Air Canada Centre. Jaromir Jagr had a backhander with just under 15 seconds to go that was stopped at the net to send it into Extras. The B's have to come out and play harder from the Jump and be more aggressive and try to take that Leaf Crowd right out of the game in Game 6.
