If you would have told me that Raiders RB Run DMC-fadden was to lead the game on the Ground and in the Air i would have told you the Raiders beat the Bolts.
What beats the Silver & Black on Opening Night in the Black Hole was the Kicker...Yes the kicker. Bolts PK Nate Keading hit not 1 not 2 not 3 not 4 but 5 Field Goals with the Longest being a 45 Yarder and the shortest being a 19 Yarder.
The Bolts won the Game by getting giving what the Raiders Defense was given them and they didn't turnover the Pigskin. The Raiders on the other hand just needed to make Plays and thy seemed to be Limited on the Outside and Minimal Weapons for Raiders QB Carson Palmer doomed them in the End. If McFadden has to be your Best Rusher and Receiver the Raiders will not win that many games. On top of all that Run DMC is not the most Durable Back on Sunday by any stretch.
The Time of Possession was Even as the Raiders threw for some 50 plus Yards more than the Bolts to no avail. Bolts WR lead the Bolts in Receiving with 5 Grabs and 1 in the Raiders End Zone. Raiders Rookie WR Rod Streater scored the only TD for the Raiders as Raiders Kicker the "Polish Cannon" Seb Janikowski knocked in 2 Field Goals.
Bolts win Game 1 and a Division Game and the Raiders go back to the Drawing Board. Week 2 Bolts host the OpryLand Boyz and the Silver & Black travel to 305 to take on the Aqua Boyz.
