Unlike the NL which has Two Pitchers at the Top of the Heap the Junior Circuit isn't as clear a Picture as the NL. The One Guy who leads in Wins and ERA is the Front runner in my eyes and that would be Rays' Left-Handed Ace David Price.

Price has had a phenomenal year and the Rays are only 3 Games back of the AL East Division Lead as we go to Press. Out of all the Pitchers in the AL P{rice has been the most consistent as well as current 2nd Pitcher Jared Weaver of the Halos. Weaver has 16 Wins but Injuries in the last Month have prevented him from reaching that 20-Win Plateau as well as helping his Angels get back into the AL Wild Card. Scherzer and Verlander of the Tigers have pitched well but it's Pale Hose Rook Pitcher Chris Sale who has to also be in that Top 3.

Sale has 16 Wins and an ERA below 3 and he has kept the Chi Sox afloat as the AL Central Leaders for most of the Season. For a Rookie to be that Composed as well as being really consistent every time his number is called it worthy of a Top 3 Cy Young Award Vote.

The Bluedude's Top 5 Pitchers in Order for the 2012 AL Cy Young is sponsored by with only 3 to 4 Starts left you must be on your A-Game from 60 Feet 6 Inches as the Voters are locked in to who will be the 2012 AL Cy Young Award Winner.

Top 5 for AL CY Young

Note: In Parenthesis ( ) AL Rank

1. David Price LHP Rays 17 Wins (1st) 2.54 ERA (1st) 175 Ks (6th)  1.12 WHIP (tied for 5th)

2. Jered Weaver RHP Halos 16 Wins (tied 2nd) 2.86 ERA (3rd) 121 Ks (27th) 1.03 WHIP (1st)

3. Chris Sale LHP Pale Hose 16 Wins (tied 2nd) 2.88 ERA (4th) 168 Ks (8th)  1.08 WHIP (tied 3rd)

4. Felix Hernandez RHP M's 13 Wins (tied 10th) 2.67 ERA (2nd) 195 Ks (4th) 1.08 WHIP (Tied 3rd)

5. Justin Verlander RHP Tigers 13 Wins (tied 10th) 2.91 ERA (5th) 212 Ks (2nd) 1.06 WHIP (2nd)

Others to Watch
5a. Matt Scherzer RHP Tigers 16 Wins (tied 2nd) 3.77 ERA (17th) 220 Ks (1st) 1.26 (tied 16th)

5b. Matt Harrison LHP Rangers 16 Wins (tied 2nd) 3.36 ERA (9th) 115 Ks (31st) 1.28 (tied 19th)

The Impressive Numbers Kid Felix Hernandez of the M's and Verlander of the Tigers have put up with Only 13 Wins tells you that their Run Support has to be low and they are also in a lot of No Decisions.

Weaver of the Halos numbers illustrates that he is a Ground Ball Pitcher as his Strikeout Numbers are the Lowest but has the Highest WHIP and 3rd Lowest ERA.

Price is having the Most Dominant Year of any as he is Top 6 in all 4 Categories and #1 in Wins and ERA.

Every Pitcher above is in a Pennant Race with Harrison of the Rangers for sure playing in the Fall Classic Tourney 2012. Which also says you will get these Pitchers Best coming down the Stretch.
