The Arizona D-Backs GM Kevin Towers was quoted as saying I will listen to Any Team about any of My Players but we are still within Striking Distance so why make a Big Move? Four Days later Nostradamus Towers was right on as the D-Backs outscore the Dodgers 19-4 to put themselves Only 2.5 Games back of the NL West lead.

With the Middle of that lineup manned by Twins Castoff Jason Kubel and D-Backs Farmhand Paul Goldschmidt the D-Backs have been putting W's together and now find themselves right in the middle of the NL West. The Head to Head with the Dodgers and Gigantes will be where they make the most ground up don the Stretch.

LHP Wade Miley has been the One Constant on the D-Backs Staff as he is 12-6 with a sparkling 2.98 ERA with Opponents Only Hitting .234 against him. With 5 against the Dodgers left and 9 vs the Gigantes lookout down the Wire to see How the West was Won.

The Rangers needed that 11-10 Hardball/Softball Fusion of a game last night at the Ballpark in Arlington. El Hombre hit 2 more Bombs as all of a sudden the Halos have their $250 Million Man but it was the Rangers "Never Say Die Attitude" they get from Skip Wash.

Miraculously the Rangers answered the Top Half of the Tenth with the Halos putting up a 3-spot with a Game-Winning 4-Spot in the Bottom Half of the Frame. The Only Negative in the Comeback Win was the "Natural" Josh Hamilton looking anything but as he goes 0-Fer in 5 Plate Appearances with 2 Whiffs and his average drops to .283.

The Rubber Match is Tonight at 7pm CT and it is a Dandy with the Former and the New Ranger from the Bump. The Halos will send former Rangers Ace CJ Wilson to the Bump against the Rangers Trade Deadline Pickup of North Sider Ryan Dempster.

The Halos came in 4 Games out and want to leave with at least having gained a Game on the Rangers. Rangers get the W they gain a Game and go up 5 Full Games. Nothing like Show Drama and it isn't even September yet.
