The New York Yankees took three out of four from the Baltimore Orioles and now they head to Fenway for an important three-piece as the Red Sox are on the Magic Number Count for the AL East Crown.
The Bombers have been playing excellent Hardball and they have done it with timely hitting i the last few games. Alfonso Soriano was a god send as he has carried the Yanks along with All-Star Robbie Cano. It will come down to Starting Pitching and that iffy-Middle Relief from the Yanks to determine if they can get that one-game playoff in October to advance to the "Fight for October".
The Carmines are rolling as they are under double-digits in that infamous Magic Number Countdown. They have played well in the last two weeks as they have separated themselves from the Pack and the Rays to assume the position of AL East Champs 2013. The Carmines could put a real damper on Yanks Wild Card Aspirations this weekend.
