The Texas Rangers know they have to get off to a good start in this series or the AL West Title Hopes are in the nose bleed. The Rangers are coming off getting swept three straight by the NL Central Powerhouse Pirates of 'Burgh Hardball. They need to forget about that series as it was inter league but still counted. Making amends for those Three L's versus the AL West leading Athletics has to be in the Rangers Cards.

The Athletics are playing excellent Hardball as they know they could put a damper on the Rangers Hopes and start that infamous Magic Number to the "Bubbly" in the Clubhouse. The A's as do the Rangers want to stay away from that One-Game Play-In Bull Sh*t and you can't blame them. One-Hundred and Sixty-Two for a Nine Inning Game that is Do or Die....c'mon MLB come up with something else!
