The Chicago Sky bounce back from a disappointing loss to the Indiana Fever a few days back and beat the Mystics 93-79. The Sky took over late and with that 30-21 final frame the Sky pulled away.  Sky Rookie Star Elena Delle Donne leads with 22 points and seven rebounds. Sylvia Fowles added 13 points and nine rebounds while Sky shooting guard Epiphany Prince chipped in with 21 points.

The Mystics had their chances but could get no offensive continuity late in the 4th to keep the game close. The Sky dominated on the glass and was +10 in free throw attempts. All that at the end of a ball game adds up and they played to their strengths which is playing big with Fowles, Cash, and Delle Donne. The Mystics were led 2013 All-Star PG Ivory Latta with 18 points and seven helpers. The Loss for the Mystics was costly as they didn't clinch a playoff berth.

The Sky will host the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday September 11 as they are two games off the best W-L Record in the WNBA owned by the Twin Cities Lynx.
