The Steelers are officially behind the eight ball in 2013 after Week 1 and it wasn't the loss in the Standings as it was the losses on the Roster. How do you replace the most-athletic Center on Sunday in Twin 53? Then the Backer who makes all the calls on the Defense in the front 7 in Larry 313 from the D? What about that Scat-Back on 3rd down that keeps Backers and Safeties thinking in the flat and in coverage in Stephens-Howlings? All that is gone in a flash and in Sunday Tackle Football no one feels sorry for you as the objectives is to win and put yourself in position to get to the "Fight for Vince". Yes the Steelers get back Ramblin' Wreck Running Back Junk Yard Dwyer and he as gone for all of one week and may be that was in the Cards as I was shocked they cut him. Now he can make amends by being the best back he could be as he will get more than his share versus the Bengals on Monday Night and moving forward in 2013.
Now before we can talk Running and even keeping Big Ben upright it's that O-Line that will be shuffled or have to come together quickly. The O-Line will look like this and when Twin when down they allowed five Sacks and the Steelers couldn't go anywhere and now comes the Bengals Front led by the $55 Million "Atkins Diet on the Ohio".
LT Big Mike "Sumthin' Serious" Adams
LG Ramon "Rocky Top" Foster
C Kelvin Beachum or Cody Wallace
RG David "Puget Sound Bully" DeCastro
RT Marcus "Swamp Thing" Gilbert
That Center Position might have Beachum the 2nd -year versatile O-Lineman or even 2013 FA Pick Up Cody Wallace (who has been in the league on and off with three different teams since 2010) or 2012 Titans Starting Center Fernando Velasco. That is the key position as they have to mesh that unit on the fly and it wasn't even meshing with Twin manning Center.
At Backer with Larry from the D "313" out for 2013 and that might be it for him do the Steelers go with Rookie Vince Williams of the 'Noles of FSU? He is the only backer ion the Depth Chart behind Foote and he can play but the System is complicated. Look for LAWdawg Timmons to get the Helmet with the Beast by Dre and Calls from the Legend and NFL HOF Dick LeBeau.
