We are now i the Month of September and the Contenders are starting to rise to the upper echelon with the Pretenders starting to play bad hardball leading into the month of October. The Top 10 combined from the Senior Circuit and Junior Circuit. The Leaders are at the Top of the Heap and Favs to get to the 2K13 Fall Classic.

Top 10 TEAMS in the NL and AL in September 2K13 Power Rankings

DIVISION Leaders

1. Tomahawk Shop 404 (86-57) #1 in NL

2. Carmines (87-58) #1 in AL

3. Boys in Blue (84-59)

4. Redbirds (83-60)

5. Swingin' Athletics (83-60)

6. Tigers (82-62)

WILD CARD Leaders

7. Buccos (82-61)

8. Rangers (81-62)

9. Red Legs (82-63)

10. Rays (78-64)

The Braves have been playing lights out for a while now have gotten a little complacent of late. They are a product of leading their Division but double digits since June.

The Carmines are the hottest team in the Show and I would venture out to say if the Playoffs started right now they are the favorite in front of the Dodgers. More encouraging news is they get RHP Clay Buchholz back as he was leading the AL in W's and ERA before hitting the D.L. back in late May.

The Boys in Blue the Dodgers are arguably the hottest Team in the Show since late June and they are my pick to get to the Fall Classic 2K13 with the Carmines as we go to press. Imagine that Dodgers and Red Sox mid to late October...Yikes!

The St. Louis Redbirds have Company as right now they are the Star in a leading role called "Three's Company" as the Buccos and Red Legs are sticking close! The Best Division in the Show by far as the AL East has fallen off.

The Oakland A's still have to contend with the Rangers and if you go by Pitching and Depth in the Pen and Rotation it's a draw. The A's have been locked in the last two weeks after a 6-1 week the week before vs the Tigers and Rays.

Tigers are the 6th and last Team in the Division Winners as they start to limp to the finish. They have the components when they get to Winning Time but is that Staff "Fight for October" good with Mad Max leading but a struggling Verlander.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are the only Team in the Race with "ZOLTAN" and "Raise The Jolly Roger" aka on Twitter #RTJR and that has to count foe something. They are super-dangerous and they are the #1 to watch outside of Division Leaders.

The Rangers are interested in one race and that is for the AL West and nothing else. They have front line Starter sin Darvish, Holland and Garza to contend with Captain Save-A-Game Joe Nathan and they will be right there behind the A's until the last series.

The Rays are hanging on and like the Tigers at  the end of the Division Leaders the Rays are at the end of the Wild Card Chasers. Can they hold on long enough to get to that AL Wild Card  is the question. We will see first hand in the next few days as they get the Carmine-Hot Bo Sox in Tamps for a three-piece.
