The NFL Week 1 Early Slate continues as we have a Battle in the NFC North under the Roof in thew Motor City. We also have Terrell Pryor going up against Colts QB Andrew Luck. Then in the " I know I can..I know I Can...Game" the Chiefs Alex Smith takes on Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert who is a game-time decision.

We know two things will happen in this one as Vikes RB Adrian Peterson will get his touches as will Lions WR Calvin "MEGAtron" Johnson. Now after that we have Vikes QB Christian Ponder who has to make plays down the field for the Vikes to take the next steps forward. The Lions need to put together consistency and start winning some games and that starts with a Run Game led by 2013 Free Agent Pick Up Reggie Bush you would hope. Can the Vikes "D" slow down that Lions Passing Game? The Lions in turn have to make the Vikes one-dimensional and make Ponder beat the, Week 1 is really important here as this is a Divisional Game...NFC North.

Winner: Vikes 27-17 with that new and improved "D" and of course AP

#RAIDERnation @ #BLUEswagger Colts from the Big Pit Stop...LUCAS Oil:

The big story is former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor getting the start in Week 1 as ex-LSU QB Matt Flynn couldn't buy him a starting NFL Job. The Raiders need to give that 1st round RB Run DMC in Darren McFadden as many touches as possible. After that let Pryor do some things on some Boots and in Space. Are the Colts better than they wee in 2012 as they changed O-Coordinators but the System is relatively the same as Pep Hamilton the New Coordinator was Luck's Coordinator at Stanford. It will come down to if the Raiders "D" can stop Luck. It will also have to be on how well Pryor runs that Raiders Offense and staying away from Turnovers.

Winner: Colts 34-23 as Luck is magnificent but the Raiders Offense did some things!

The Game will start and end with how the Jags can handle a Top 5 "D" in the Chiefs and that's some high praise but all them pro-bowlers. If Jags QB Gabbert of Henne starts they still need a heavy dose of "Pocket Hercules" Mo Jones-Drew. Now as far as the Chiefs Offensive Concerns go Alex Smith needs to make plays but not be Superman. This isn't the 49ers he is playing so relax and "Do your Job" Alex. The Jags must stop the "Arrowhead Beast" in Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles...and if they don't take that "L" with you in Week 1. Watch Jags 2nd-Year WR Justin Blackmon vs Chiefs All-Pro CB Brandon Flowers...nice match up. Jags Rookies and 2013 Top Picks in CB Dwayne Gratz (UConn) and SS Jonathan Cyprien (Florida International) are getting put in the Fire right away as they are super-talented.
    
Winner: Chiefs 19-16...both offenses stymied by good "D" and poor QB Play
