They racked up 322 yards in the 2st half and ran 53 offensive plays and they led at the break 26-7 and its was Lead Man Chip Kelly and that Ducks/Birds Fusion of Offense now called "LINC-iliscious". That's right where is Eagles Nation now about Mr. Vick as he played five-star football tonight.
The Eagles hung on to beat the Redskins as the 'Skins made a run late but 33 points put up in Week 1 vs what was suppose to be a pretty good "D" for the 'Skins. Vicks sliced and diced that Read-Option as he ran for 54 yards an threw for 203 yards. That "Shady"Character from Pitt Panthers U ran for 184 yards on 31 chances as he looked like the best Running Back in Football Tonight or at least in Week 1. Throw in "Action Jackson" Linc Edition seven grabs for 104 yards and one in the #HTTR End Zone....the Eagles looked and played the part on this night.
On the flip side RG3 and the "Skins Offense looked as behind the eight ball as QB Bob III with his throws. They 'Skins took a page out of the NY Football Giants Book of Horrors from last night as they gave up the Pigskin early and often vs the Eagles. Yes RG3 got his feet wet in the 2nd half and ended up throwing for 329 on 30 of 49 but those two INT's early spelled gloom and doom for the 'Skins. The Run Game has to be better as does the pas Protection for QB Bob III. RB Alfred Morris only had 45 yards on twelve chances an that has to change ASAP.
Now the Eagles go into Week 2 with some things on the tape and we will see how the Sunday Defensive Contingent attacks "LINC-iliscious from here on out. Those Blitz Packages 'Skins D-Coordinator Jim Haslett had implemented in the 2nd frame did slow down the Eagles as Vick was having a hard time identifying the man blitzing free. That will be something to watch in Week 2.
The Eagles will get tested next week to what looks like thus far a different Bolts get up at the Linc on Sunday. The 'Skins travel to Green Bay and both are 0-1 coming in...so something has to give.
