Andre Iguodala of the Seventy-Sixers has seen this coming for quite sometime and the writing was really on the wall when the Sixers drafted Ohio State's and Westchester, Illinois St. Joseph HS Alum Evan Turner. Iggy just had to make the best of it as he has become more of a Team Leader and more equipped now than ever to make a jump to a New Franchise and Lead his New Team.

A Fabulous Athlete at Springfield, Illinois Lanphier H.S. (also home to Former Illinois All-Staters and Standout Iowa Hawkeyes Kevin Gamble, former Celtic, and Ed Horton) AI was decorated as a Basketball Player and a Track Star. A Top 30 Player Nationally by his Senior Year in Class of 2002 and AAU National Tourney MVP on the Illinois Warriors (Nike Affiliated) with Teammates like Darius Miles and Shannon Brown among others was headed to the Arkansas Razorbacks and then Coach Nolan Richardson. He was also going to Run Track and that was no to be as the Hiogs fired Nolan before Iggy could get there.

Iggy then opened his recruiting back up to sign with Lute Olson and then U of A Lead Recruiter Jim Rosborough who had all the Illinois Ties. Iggy played well at U of A and was a 2 and out Player selected by the Sixers #9 Overall in the 2004 NBA Draft.

Iggy has been a Good player in Philly he just hasn't been the Difference-Maker as he is a Piece Player not a Franchise Player. His Work is Defensively when he is at his best. He still can't really shoot it but is an Attacker and Finisher on the Break and in the Half-Court.

IGGY of Broad Street Stats in Philly:

2011-12: 12.4 ppg 6.1 boards 5.5 helpers

In Coach George Karl's System he will be a Nice Fit as he brings that old Player Karl loved back in his SUPERSONICS Days like Vincent Askew, Nate McMillan, David Wingate, the Glove.."G.P are you Wit Me"...Gary Payton..all between 6'4" and 6'8" and can guard the 1-3 on most nights.

The Nuggets look like they wanted to help themselves on the Perimeter Defensively and Iggy is going to be a Welcomed Addition to the Mix.

IGGY + Rocky + Gallanari + MAN-imal = PEPSI Center a Real Tough Place to play and Playoff Time in Mile High
