2011 Record 15-1 Overall NFC North (6-0)

They looked unstoppable except that Pack Defense had a Slow Leak at the Start of the 2011 Season and turned into a Gaping Hole in the Divisional Home Playoff Game vs Gotham City Blue as the G-Men ran through, around , and over the Packers and left No Bodies from that NFC Divisional Game.   Now what do the PACK do for an Encore?

Lead Man Mike McCarthy and Assistant Lead Man Winston Moss among others told Defensive Guru and the Originator of the 3-4 Zone Blitz (current Steelers Defensive Guru and 2010 HOF Dick LeBeau learned from Capers) Dom Capers we need some New Toys for your Defense and New Toys it was. The Packers use the entire 2012 Sunday Draft on the Defensive Side of the Pigskin as the Offense is Off the Sunday Charts still.

The Offense is still as good as any with the Best Signal Caller on Sunday and Top 2 Wide Receivers. A-Rog is back with Top Targets Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson. Add a Huge Portion of Tight End Jermichael Finley and you have a 5-Star Offensive Package. RB James Starks had a good 2011 and now the Pack gets even more talented as they pick up FA Cedric Benson a 1K Yard Rusher in 2011 with 5 in your End Zone. Reinforcements stay the same as the Greatest Packer WR of All-Time Donald Driver (from a Stats Point of View) and Greg Jones back up Jennings and Nelson.

The O-Line picks up Peyton Manning's Old Squeeze Jeff Saturday and he has OT Bryan Bulaga from Iowa City, Iowa Fame among others blocking for A-Rog and Group. OT Derek Sherrod is on thew Pup List but watch for him at least by Week 7 if he stays in that List.

Defensively its starts with Raji, Matthews, and C-Wood. Pencil in Men of Troy ILB Nick Perry (2012 1st Round Pick) to go with Matthews on the Outside and AJ Hawk on the Inside. Ryan Pickett will down a DE Spot and look for Big Bog and 2012 2nd Round Pick Sparty's Jerel Worthy to back up the Interior of that Line.

Tramon Williams will hold down an Island while Charles Woodson moves to Strong Safety. Another Wrinkle to Capers as he knows with the Ball-Hawking and Tackling Skills of Wood to move him to SS. Wood is a Mix of Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu and they never played on an Island even in College like Wood.

Key Players and Free Agents Acquisitions for 2012:

QB A-Rog
RB J. Starks
TE J. Finley
WR G. Jennings
WR J. Nelson
C J. Saturday (2012 FA Pick Up from Colts)
OT B. Bulaga

DE R. Pickett
DT RAJI
DT J. Worthy (2012 2nd Round Pick from Sparty)
OLB N. Perry (2012 1st Round Pick from Men of Troy)
ILB HAWK
OLB Matthews
SS C-WOOD
CB T. Williams

They are loaded and now they have put some Stock and Assets into that Defense they should be able to stop a Few People. The Saturday pick up was huge as that solidified the O-Line. Getting Ced Benson at Running Back was also a Big Help and he is a Downhill Runner.

The Defense has is re-tooled in some Areas but the Pro Bowl Players are still in tow. Rookie OLB Nick Perry should see some One on Ones as Matthews will see More and More of what he saw last Season.

Key Schedule Dates for 2012:

Sep. 9 Gold Rush
Sep. 13 Monsters of the Midway
Sep. 30 @ NOLA
Oct. 14 @ Reliant Energy
Nov. 18 @ Motor City

Nov. 25 @ Gotham City Blue
Dec. 2 Purple People
Dec. 9 Lions
Dec. 16 @ Soldier Field
Dec. 30 @ Twin Cities

Ok..September is a Monster but after that the Pack look like they may go at least 12-4 and with House Money I would say 14-2 with that Offense and Aaron Rodgers. It will be up to the Defensive though as they have to prove themselves as last season they were ate up and that O bailed them out almost every Sunday.
