The Football GODS have spoken....and WEEK 17 had no real surprises as the teams who were suppose to win....WON. The only real drama the whole day was the BEARS not beating the PACKERS and getting them out of the PLAYOFFS. We have all seen what playing a TEAM 3 times in a season can do to TEAMS.

So on to WEEK 17 ACTION.........

The STEELERS and Big BEN ROETHLISBERGER knew what they had to do Sunday at the new DAWG POUND. Win and they clinch the AFC North, which would be the STEELERS 7th in 10 seasons....LOSE and they would not have a bye the 1st round of the PLAYOFFS and would host a Playoff Game in the 1st Round.

The STEEL Curtain got the MEMO and went to work at the tune of a 41-9 Beatdown of the BROWNS and Head COACH Eric MANGINI. The STEELERS never looked back in this one and probably played their best overall game of the season, which is extremely gratifying to Offensive Coordinator Bruce ARIANS.

Now the STEELERS have a week off and will face the highest seed available in the AFC after the Wild Card Games on Saturday and Sunday.

The RAVENS beat the BENGALS or is it BUNGLES and have to think one BENGALS QB Carson PALMER as he had a few chances at the end to win the game and could not cash in. This was a MICROCOSM of the BENGALS and PALMEr on OFfense this year and BLACK Monday should be interesting as Head COACH Marvin Lewis is expected not to return to the QUEEN CITY.

RAVENS will play at ARROWHEAD and have a distinct advantage as far as experience but will have to slow down the NFL'S #1 Ground attack and the BLUEDUDE thinks this is possible with big DT NGATA and MLB Supreme RAY RAY.

COLTS used every thing they had on OFFENSE and making PLAYS at the right time to beat rival Tennessee at the PIT STOP in INDY. Now the COLTS have a rematch of the AFC Championship game of last year and the JETS are a way better team than what the COLTS saw last year.

The GAME will be won on 2 different fronts.......Can the Colts stop the JETS Running attack?...and Can the JETS stop PEYTON and his injury riddled air attack that seems to be gaining confidence every week they play? Inquiring MINDS want to know........and need to know

The PACKERS saved their best for last as QB Aaron RODGERS and WR'S JENNINGS and DRIVER took care of the rest for a 10-3 PACKERS Victory and sends them to the Playoffs and knocks out the G-MEN and BUCCANEERS.

The BEARS had their chances and it is dangerous territory when you have to play a team 3 times in a SEASON and 2 times within 2-3 weeks.

The BEARS have a BYE WEEK and need to forget about this one and concentrate on the task at hand.....one 2nd round home playoff game and another game either at home or on the road then its on to BIG D......that simple.

RAHEEM MORRIS and his Buccaneers came up short but they will be a force to be reckon with next year and years to come with that relatively young defense and QB JOSH FREEMAN. The FUTURE looks bright for the BUCS, Coach MORRIS, and the GLAZER Family.

The MARA FAMILY and the New York FOOTBALL GIANTS have already released a statement saying that Head Coach Tom COUGHLIN will be back for the next season. The G-MEN just couldn't get over the loss to the EAGLES and the following week to the PACK.

The DALLAS COWBOYS finished relatively strong under interim Head JASON GARRETT and the COWBOYS and Owner Jerry JONES are almost certainly going to remove the interim tag from GARRETT to make him Head COACH....they just need to have the token or shall I say Meet THE QUOTA Interview to move the process along.

With the DOLPHINS losing to the PATS in BEATDOWN Fashion is Coach Tony SPORANO OUT?...........with BIG TUNA gone and ownership also wanting to talk to GM Jeff IRELAND.......they could both be getting a tap on the BACK and don't let the door hit you in the BACKSIDE on the way out.

WHAT an NFL SEASON and I hope Fans enjoyed it.......because there might not be a 2011 Season...Now onto the playoffs and thier is a lot of PARITY in this one especially in the NFC......as the PATRIOTS seem to be the FAVORITE in the AFC............

PLAYOFF BREAKDOWNS coming this week leading up to NFL WILD CARD WEEK
