A game of many up and down and that's NBA Basketball but at this time of year every thing is heightened depending on where you fall in the rankings. The Oklahoma City Thunder came into tonight's action just three games back of the Denver Nuggets with the Mile High Basketball sitting in the 32 slot in the west.

The Thunder didn't played well through the first and most of the second frame until late as the Nuggets Starters were a huge problem mainly talking Nugs and Team Canada Sniper Jamal Murray and 2018-19 All-Star "Big" Nikola Jokic the "Joker" from Serbia.

Murray's timely 20 points and Jokic nearly going triple-double with a game-high 36 points with ten helpers and nine boards did the damage. They combined to shoot 8 for 14 from Fort Collins, Colorado both hitting four money balls apiece. Throw in Will Barton dba "Instant" Buckets in Seconds 23 points the Nugs were a runaway train.

That 64-51 Nugs halftime lead stayed at 13 as the Nugs lead in the 3rd by as many as 18.  A mini run by the "Regulators" O.K.C. at the end of the three including a buzzer-beating half court shot by Playoff P dba Paul George (25 pts 8 rebs 7 asst 6 stls) cut that lead to 13 by the score of 91-78.

The Thunder continued that run into the 4th and tied the game midway through the 4th at 97-97 on a Dennis Schroder money ball. O.K.C. could get no closer than a point at 105-104 Nugs as Denver pulled away late with the "Joker" and Barton closing out the game. Russell Westbrook just missed a triple-double with 22 points ad fourteen boards with nine assists for O.K.C.. Jerami Grant added 21 points with Schroder chipping in with 11 points.

The costly "L" by the "Regulators" O.K.C. puts them back at 38-22 four game back of Denver as the Nugs at 42-18 just a game back of the "Champs" Golden State Warriors at 43-17. G.S.W. will see Denver two more times on March 8th and April 2nd both on Planet Oracle as we will see what Denver is really made of...
