The #1 Ranked in the Land the Tennessee Volunteers moved to an impressive 23-1 and 11-0 in SEC Play as they get by a game South Carolina Gamecocks Bunch that was looking to get the upset helping both the Kentucky Wildcats and LSU Tigers if they could have pulled it off.

The Vols behind one of their two All-SEC Performers Admiral Schofield 's 21 points (pictured left and on the right) and ten boards did everything they had to do in this game but guard the arc. The Cocks shot an amazing 14 for 23 from the deep but could not stop the Vols Attack led by Schofield and Jordan Bowden (16 pts) off the Vols Bench.

The Cocks did great against Vols All-American Candidate Grant Williams (8 pts 9 rebs 7 asst pictured left on the left) as G-Will did what the "D" gave him and filled the stat sheet up rather than getting just buckets. Cocks SG Tre Campbell led that attack shooting 5 for 5 from deep with a team-high 19 points. Cocks "Big" Chris Silva had a monster game in and around the paint with 17 points and fifteen boards.

The Vols "W" sets up what is a make or break game Saturday for the Home team the Kentucky Wildcats as they get Tennessee at Rupp. When was the last time the Vols were heavy favorites playing in Rupp Arena the Allan Houston Days or shall we even go back to the Ernie and Bernie Show talking Bernard King and Ernie Grunfeld?

Vols win a for sure #1 seed in March Madness regardless of what happens in the SEC Tourney...
