The Brooklyn Nets are flying high and who would've thought with no Professor Spencer Dinwiddie with the Nets that Flatbush Hoops would come out swinging in the Logo's #2 team in the West by W-L the Denver Nuggets.

Yes the final was 135-130 Nets but that wasn't indicative as how the game went as the Nets jumped out to a 72-60 lead at intermission behind a 42-25 2nd frame. Not making excuses but Denver was without dynamic guard Gray Harris as he is out with minor injuries.

That lead ballooned to as high as 21 points in the 3rd as Brooklyn led going in to the 4th 108-87. It Nets All-Star D'Angelo Russell leading the way with 27 points and eleven helpers and six boards as he set the table for Brooklyn to get out and do damage early.

That Nets Bench outscored the Nugs Bench some 53-42 as DeMarre Carroll led with 18 points and ten boards. Denver gets a triple-double from All-Star Nikola Jokic dba Serbian Joker with 25 points and fourteen boards with ten helpers with Mason Plumlee adding 24 points and Jamal Murray 19 points and eleven helpers.

Denver cannot let the Nets shoot 52% from the field and nearly 56% from the stripe and expect to hit the winner's circle playing out of the motel. Brooklyn held on late as moves to 29-27 with the Nuggets falling to 37-17...
