Look the North Carolina Tar Heels know exactly what they have to do as the ACC Regular Season Schedule comes to the end and that is win out and we have Virginia and Duke ahead on the schedule that should decide everything.

Well the visiting N.C. State Wolfpack a vital part of the "Research Triangle" didn't get the message at least in the first half and the 'Heels jumped out to a 56-40 halftime lead. The Pack never recovered and made the final a respectable score losing 113-96 as UNC did let their guard down a little too much in the second half.

Led by preseason All-ACC PF Luke May's 31 points and a dozen boards along with 21 points from Colby White the 'Heels rolled shooting a sizzling 56% from the field and 83% plus from the stripe on 31 for 37. UNC also hammered the "Pack' on the glass a +14 on their way to an 8-1 ACC W-L and a 18-4 overall.

State was led by Braxton Beverly's team-high 17 points and C.J. Bryce's 15 points as the "Pack" did shoot 50% from the field and 41% plus from the Arc but just 63% from the stripe and was -16 in made FTs compared to UNC.

State still has a legit shot at getting into March Madness at a 4-6 ACC W-L and a 16-7 overall but they have work still to do...

UNC Star Freshman Nassir Little had a dozen with six boards...
