A game in which its easy to fold being on the road playing out of the motel and the Miami Heat not only came to play but came to grab victory from the champs. The Golden State Warriors hit 3rd gear in the middle of this none only to find themselves into a ball game with a photo finish in the 4th.
The Heat led 34-24 after one and 59-54 at the break. The Champs though the best "Firepower" in all of Basketball came out firing on all cylinders in the 3rd running up a 36-23 tab on the Heat to lead after three by the score of 90-82.
The Heat down by 8 to 9 points most of the 4th made a run behind both Josh Richardson (37 pts 8-11 3pt FG) and Justise Winslow (22 pts 6 rebs) and Dion Waiters (24 pts 6-13 3pt FG) as Miami took the lead 108-107 on a Winslow money ball at the above four minute mark.
It was Kevin Durant's game-high 39 points that came alive late as he made just one money ball going 16 for 24 from the field. Klay Thompson 29 points with Steph Curry 25 points as they combine for 11-24 from San Jose, California.
J-Rich had a dunk making it 118-115 Heat under a minute then a KD money ball tied the game up only for Boogie Cousins to make two free throws at the 5.4 second mark and Waiters missed a potential game-winning money ball.
GSW moves to 40-15 and the Heat falls to 25-29...
