I was the first to say why on earth is the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers hanging on to lead man Brett Brown off that Gregg Popovich Tree and now looking back on that I am just a Sports Blogger with 100 million other bloggers trying to get a piece of the pie!

The new 76ers go end to end and throttle the new L.A. Clippers 121-110 and what was most impressive Philly was without man-child and "Dream Shake" wannabe Joel Embiid who has major game everywhere on the hardwood.

No Embiid in comes the disgruntled Nerlens "I am no ones B-Team Player" Noel and he adds to the Sixers pot with 19 points and eight boards with three blocks. Throw in Richaun Holmes (Bowling Green) chipping in with 18 points and Sixers unsung hero Robert Covington (14 pts 8 rebs) Philly was impressive buying into all that Brown is preaching.

The Clips behind 5-Star lead man Doc Rivers gets 42 points from its back court with no CP3 in sight as JJ Redick (22 pts) and Austin Rivers (20 pts) kept the Clips within striking distance. It was the play or lack of play from "Bigs" Blake Griffin (formerly of the Blake Show back to Government name) and DeAndre Jordan netting just 22 points between them as Jordan did grab twenty boards.

Look if the Clips do not move Griffin by the Trade Deadline it would shock me real talk. With CP3 out that maybe nearly impossible but the Clips need to move on somewhere within that starting five.

Philly moves to 16-27 as their impressive January 2K17 continues. The Clips falling to 30-17 and entrenched in the 4th slot in the west must win these types of games or they will start slipping in the west...
