The Houston Rockets came into the Madhouse on Madison with a new-look and that new-look has folks in the west thinking Red Nation will hit the Cell Towers and become Clutch City once again. Well I don't know what's going to happen out west but at the Madhouse with this 2014-15 Bulls Outfit you had better bring your A-Game or Busters you have five seconds to hit the exit!

The Bulls used a 31-16 fourth frame push to get by the Rockets 114-105 after trailing 89-83 after three. The Bulls hitting that switch and going to another level also shows a team ready to make that June run forget that mid-April and May run.

It was the "Spaniard" Pau Pau Pau Gasol's 18 1st frame points killing Dwight Howard among others that carried See Red early. Former Chicago, Illinois Marshall H.S. Star (who was cut by his other HS Waubonsie Valley HS in Aurora, Ill his Sophomore Season then went onto to be 1st Team All-State and All- SEC at Arkansas) was leading the Rockets surge early wit a dozen in the 1st half.

It was Josh Smith (21 pts 6 rebs on 10/20 FG) in the 2nd and 3rd doing his thing that gave the Rockets a 89-83 lead going into the 3rd. James Harden had 20 points but had his hands full covering and being covered by the "See Red Butler' Jimmy Butler (22 pts 5 rebs).

Butler along with Pau Gasol's game-high 27 points and fourteen boards led the Bulls in the 4th along with D-Rose (19 pts 9 asst) and Nikola Mirotic (17 pts 8 rebs). Niko has been impressive making a case to be in the Rookie Challenge at All-Star Weekend in NYC and All-Rookie 1st Team.

Bulls shoot an impressive 90% from the stripe 27-30 as Red Nation lived and died by the "J" shooting just five free throws all game long!

Chicago moves to 25-10 with the Salt Palace Jazz coming into the Madhouse on "Hump Day" January 7. Rockets fall to 23-11 in that rugged NBA Southwest Division.
