It's going to happen sometimes as the better team on the night will get the "W". The Winnipeg Jets have played the Hawks better than anyone in the 2014-15 season and the Jets get off the "Madhouse on Madison" Tarmac with a late power surge in the 3rd for a 4-2 "W"!

The Jets give them credit it started in the "Blue Paint" in net minder Michael Hutchison (31-33 svs) and with their physical play from former Hawk Dustin Byfuglien and ended with the stick handling and scoring of another former Hawk Andrew Ladd.

The Indian Head started the scoring not even a minute into the 1st as Brandon Saad scores his 13th of the season making it 1-0 Hawks. The Jets midway through the 1st tied the game at 1-1 with a slapper from Zach Bogosian.

There would be no scoring in the 2nd with both teams skating hard with solid checking (Jets and former Hawks Dustin Byfuglien was hitting anything in red/black) on the boards and hardly any mistakes in their ends. The Jets would get a power play almost midway through the 3rd and score on a Bryan Little goal making it 2-01 Jets and some 28 seconds later the Jets Chris Thorburn would get a  tip-in making it 3-1 Jets.

The Indian Head would strike as talented Rook in his 1st game with the Hawks Teuvo Teravainen of Finland would "Light the Lamp" making it 3-2 Jets. He has some "Bison City Mullet" Patrick Kane in him and when he gets his skates under him and naturally bigger lookout!

Ladd though the former Indian Head would get a an empty netter for a Jets 4-2 "W" as the Jets out shoot the Hawks 35-33. Hawks net minder "Craw-Dad" stopped 31 of 34 SOG. The Hawks were also 0 for 2 on the PP and the Jets were 1 for 3.

The Indian Head falls to 28-14-2 with 58 points...the Jets 24-14-8 with 56 points are a real threat in the west come "Fight for Lord Stanley".

Hawks gets the Dallas Stars on Sunday January 18 at 7pm ET...
