PURPLE BROWNS 31 PATS 35 F

Where do you start as the Purple Browns blew a 14-0 lead and that lead wasn't safe but that 28-14 lead in the 3rd should have been somewhat safe with Joe and the Offense in cahoots and driving the pig.

Then out of nowhere the Pats outscore the Ravens 21-10 in the 2nd half not before some ill-advised throws by both QB's. If you would have told me before the contest that Ravens RB Justin Forsett would run for 129 yards on 24 carries and Jersey Joe would throw for nearly 300 yards and four TD's I would have told you the Purple Browns did what I thought they were going to do beta the Pats.

Forget that last Ravens Drive that ended in an INT it should have not come to that. I am not going to roll with the rest of the Networks and Call by Call dudes but the Purple Browns let them off the hook period. Yes Brady threw for 367 yards and three TD's but they could not run the pig...and the Ravens still lose...c'mon Charm City!

Pats will get at Foxboro next week the winner of the Broncos/Colts Game...

PANTHERS 17 SEAHAWKS 31 F

Carolina played a perfect game in the Hawks Nest 206 all the way up to the ladder 3rd and early 4th frames. That 14-10 Seahawks lead at half is right where the Panthers needed them to be playing them straight up.

Then Panthers QB Cam Newton doing what he does sometimes gets rattled and there goes the Seahawks as the Luke Wildon 25-yard TD and the "Killah Cam" 90-yard pick six in the 4th were back breakers and deal breakers.

Cam forcing the Pig in areas a 3rd-year QB doesn't not need to be forcing the issue is beyond me. Throw the pig away or take the red jersey collection but do not create a turnover. Cam's numbers weren't horrible as he was 23 for 36  for 246 yards and two TD's and two INT's.

Meanwhile Seahawks QB Russell Wilson was a cool 15 for 22 for 268 yards and 3 TD's and no INT's...none. Cam don't be like Russ but try to be as efficient as Russ and that's all Teams ask from QB's..."Do your Job"!

I thought under the circumstances that Panthers "D" played well enough to keep the Panthers close enough to possibly spring an upset. 12's moves onto the NFC Championship Game (hosting the game of course) next week where they will get either the Cowboys or Packers for a barn burner!
