The Green Bay Packers will remember this forever and they should as this has to be and will be motivation for the 2015 season. As for the Seattle Seahawks it is just simple, "Believe in each other and we will find a way"!
After Packers Placekicker Mason Crosby hit his 4th FG of the game with just over five minutes remaining it was the nail that closed the coffin for the 2014 NFC West Champion Seattle Seahawks. Then it happened...
A 1-yard TD Run by Seahawks QB Russell Wilson with 1:43 remaining making the score 19-14 Hawks closing a 69-yard drive in seven plays. All the packers had to do was grab the onside kick...and they didn't.
The Hawks get the Wilson pigskin back and cap off a four play 50 yard drive as "Beast Mode" Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch scampers for a 24-yard TD run giving the Hawks a 20-19 lead and just like that the Twitter verse changed from Honey Crisp Apples to Sunkist Oranges.
Then Wilson scrambling on a two-pint conversion throws one up across his boy in the end zone to TE Luke Wilson and 12's goes straight 100% Nut Factory for a 22-19 lead. The problem was they gave Sunday's best surgeon A-Rog 1:25 to work and work he did.
The Packers capped off a seven play 48 yard drive with a Mason Crosby FG tying the game sending it to OT. Hawks win the coin toss and from there it was this...Congrats to the 2014 "Fight for George" Trophy winners the Seattle Seahawks!
Wilson throws 4 INT's...A-Rog goes 5-Star with that bad wheel...Pack "D" under Mr. Capers playing lights out for 55 minutes...Beast Mode running to Tacoma...and Jermaine Kearse with the "Catch"...what a finish that was!
