The Oakland Raiders needed some stability and they get it tabbing former Broncos D-Coordinator and Jags Lead Man Jack Del Rio their new lead man. The Raiders obviously didn't want to go that experiment route getting another semi-unknown to be the Raiders head man.

Yes Del Rio only went to winning time twice in almost a decade leading the Jags but the Jags were no doormat in the AFC South when he was coach. He has maybe more pieces here then he had in J'Ville but also more unknown potential and it will be up to Del Rio to get that out of some of the Raiders young talent.

The Silver and Black has immediate questions at RB and WR along with O-Line. They also have pressing needs at D-Line and in the secondary. Will the Raiders start heading north right way or will it take them a at least two seasons and two drafts under Del Rio to get it going? Only time will tell but an excellent move for Oakland trying to get back to AFC and NFL Prominence...
