There was no doubt with a few new players on the MLB Ballots for Cooperstown that there was a chance that maybe three players would make the cut on the first ballot. Then there was one player in 2014 in Craig Biggio that just missed out on the Hall by a handful of votes.

Well after the smoke cleared it was former Expos Farmhand Randy Johnson and L.A. Dodgers Farmhand Pedro Martinez along with Atlanta Braves John Smoltz and Houston Astros Craig Biggio that get the call they have been waiting for joining the elite in the Show for Cooperstown NY.

Johnson was electric for the Seattle Mariners and that's where he teamed up with the "Kid" Ken Griffey Jr. to become the "Shows" Batman and Robin.  Martinez I remember from the best baseball team ever to never win a World Series that 1994 Montreal Expos Squad that was headed right to the '94 Fall Classic if there was no stoppage of work.

Smoltzy went Charles Bronson double-barrel action as he was an Ace Starters for Braves Country and then went to #1 Closer and was dynamic in both roles.

Then there is Biggio who started out as a Backstop and ended playing the field with a solid mix mix of throwing leather and carrying heavy Ash, Maple, or Bamboo at the dish. I wonder now that he is in if former Teammate Jeff Bagwell will get the call as that was the 'Stros version of PB&J.
