The Oklahoma City Thunder got a taste of the new Utah Jazz starting to come full circle with all that young talent. The Jazz were right there in the end but it was OKC's new piece to the puzzle in former Cav and 'Cuse Orange Star Dion Waiters making a huge "Splash"!

The Thunder sluggish once again out the gate was down 50-44 at the break. Russell Westbrook and K.D both had 11 at the break with Jazz Stars Gordon Hayward a dozen and PG Trey Burke ten at the break for the Jazz.

OKC cut that lead to two at the end of three with a 30-26 third quarter frame with Durant and Westbrook combining for 19 points in that frame. OKC held serve in the 4th getting the lead and holding on to it behind Westbrook, KD, and Dion Waiters the new guy to call OKC home.

Waiters netted 15 points as he had five in a pivotal run  late in the 4th to give OKC a 99-94 win over the Utah. OKC forced 20 Jazz turnovers as the Jazz was +7 in makes from the stripe. The Thunder shooting way too many "J" and that has been their Achilles heel in winning time no inside presence.

KD ended the night with a game-high 32 points with Russ adding 25 points and waiting on a dozen OKC tables. Serge Ibaka dropped a dozen points with seven boards with Dion's 15. OKC moves to 18-19 after those two bad showings in Cali!

Utah was led by Hayward's 27 points and Derrick Favors double-double of 22 points and eleven boards with PG Trey Burke adding 20 points. Utah needs more scoring at the SG and SF and that shoot first PG-Approach that Burke is doing is not a good look...just saying! Utah falls to 13-24...
