The New Orleans Pelicans behind their All-Stars in PF Anthony Davis and former Sixers All-Star PG and UCLA Standout Jrue Holiday wore down the home team the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples moving the NOLA Gumbo Pelicans to 9-10 in the 2014-15 season.

A 50-40 NOP half time lead quickly ballooned to a 79-59 3rd frame lead behind Davis' 15 points and Holiday's 20. The Lakers led by Kobe Bryant's 14 points after three shot a woeful 40% from the field and 26% from the arc. The Pelicans go onto a 104-87 victory as Davis ends with a game-high 23 points and six boards. Holiday added 22 points and eight helpers as they both led five Pelicans in double figures shooting nearly 52% from the field.

The Lakers were led by Kobe's 14 points and Swaggy P's 13 points as the Laker Gang falls to a dismal 5-16 in the Pacific. Lakers very thin in the painted-area was out rebounded 50-34 but only committed 7 turnovers to the Pelicans 15 turnovers.
