The Chicago Blackhawks and net minder Corey Carwford spotted the visiting Nashville Predators a three goal lead. The Preds scored on two goals in the 1st period behind Roman Josi and Craig Smith making it 2-0 after one. The Preds then made it 3-0 in the 2nd after former Pens LW James Neal beat Craw-Dad making it 30 Preds. The Hawks though after that goal went into 2015 Overdrive!

Behind a Brad Richards score midway through the 2nd and Andrew Shaw and Marian Hossa (PPG) goals with 2:30 left in the 3d the Hawks and Preds wee all tied at the Madhouse at 3-3 just like that! Preds James Neal though with under a minute remaining in the 2nd would beat Craw-Dad again for his 2nd goal of the night and a 4-3 P{reds lead heading into the 3rd.

Both teams skated from 18:47 until Bryan Bickell cored from David Rundblad and D.K. assists tying the game up at 4-4 heading into the five minute extra session. No one "Lit the Lamp" in that extra period as both teams went top a shootout.

It was a Captain Serious goal in the Hawks first shot that was the winner as the Preds missed all three of their attempts and the Indian Head picks up two points to stretch out that Central lead. Hawks win 5-4 in the Shootout moving them to 25-10-2 with 52 points.

Hawks Craw-Dad stopped 36 of 40 SOG and all three Preds attempts in the Shootout. Pekka Rinne of the Preds stopped 38 of 42 SOG as Jonathan Toews beat him in the Hawks first shot in the shootout the game-winner.

Preds fall to 23-9-3 with 49 points in 2nd place in the central behind the Indian Head...
