The Chicago Blackhawks like clockwork and after a tough shootout loss to the Jackets last night in Columbus, Ohio comes back to the Madhouse all business. The Hawks get two goals in the first and two more in the 3rd and the visiting Leafs of Toronto had no chance at the Madhouse on this night!

It was a David Rundblad goal late in the first and a Kris Versteeg goal with one second remaining in the 1st that gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead and "Uncle Mo" on their side. The game remained at 2-0 after the 2nd as both net minders did a solid job.

The Hawks get it going in the 3rd after the Leafs came out in the 3rd with a few chances they didn't capitalize on. Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews both scored in the 3rd as the Hawks top two players give Hawks Nation at the U.C. want the wanted! The Indian Head had 17 scoring chances to the Leafs 14.

Hawks net minder Antti Raanta stopped all 31 SOG he faced. Leafs net minder James Reimer halted 30 of 34 SOG as the Hawks 1 for 2 on the power play and the Leafs 0 for 2. The Indian Head moves to 23-9-2 with 48 points leading the Central by three points over the Blue Notes. The Leafs fall to 19-12-3 with 41 points which is 4th in the Atlantic.
