Both Corey Crawford and Calvin Pickard after one had to be thinking I have to stop the bleeding or I will be watching the rest of this one behind my bench. Having said that both the Hawks and Avs skated to a 2-2 tie after one with both teams making more of less.

The Avs got off to a 1-0 lead after Star Nathan MacKinnon slapped one by "Craw-Dad" for his 6th . Then it was Hawks Brandon Saad scoring his 8th tying the game up at 1-1. That tie lasted not even two minutes as the Avs Erik Johnson slapped one for a 2-1 Avs lead. The Indian Head gets a Patrick Kane tip-in tying it up at 2-2 as all that scoring was done on a combined 15 SOG.

The Hawks got things in order after that with Brent Seabrook scoring the only goal (Power Play) in the 2nd for a Hawks 3-2 lead. The Indian Head's "D" tightened up as did their check game scoring on the 2nd power play of the night with a Patrick Sharp goal making it 4-2. The Bison City Mullet Patrick Kane finished it up after that with an empty netter.

Craw-Dad ended up stopping 23 for 25 SOG as Avs net minder Pickard stopped 28 of 32 SOG. The Hawks took full advantage of their Power Play going for 2 for 4. They also out shot the Avs 33-25.

The Indian Head moves to 24-10-2 and 50 points just two points of West #1 the Mighty Ducks with 52 points. The Indian Head gets the tough Preds on Monday December 29th before the 2015 Winter Classic match in D.C. at Nats Park vs the Caps as they will have a NAT-itude!
