The San Antonio Spurs came into the Moda Center on Monday Night without the services of their top 5 players excluding Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green. Spurs lead man "Pops" would be the first to tell you we line up and play no excuses.

The Trailblazers trying to put another one in the win column did just that as they power past the Spurs Family 108-95. The Blazers leading 48-43 at the half never ran away from the Spurs until the end. It was Blazers All-Stars Damian Lillard and L-Train Aldridge both netting 23 points with Dame dropping ten helpers and L-Train grabbing fourteen boards. Rip City shot nearly 47% from the field and forced 15 Spurs turnovers on their way to an 108-93 "W"!

San Antonio down 76-68 after three go to within 91-84 with just over six minutes to go but that would be as close as they would get. K.L. led with 21 points and nine boards leading all five Spurs starters in double figures along with rook and Spurs Top 2014 draft pick Kyle Anderson by way of Jersey City, NJ HS Powerhouse St. Anthony's with 15 points and five boards off the Spurs bench.

Rip City moves to 19-6 while the Spurs fall to 17-8...
