Don't look now but that NL West that has become Dodger Blue through 162 and Orange October in the "Fight for the Commish" now gets some elite company from their California Neighbors from the Southern California.

Through numerous media outlets the Atlanta Braves have agreed to trade corner OF Justin Upton to the San Diego Padres for that dreaded MLB word "Prospects"! Braves new GM John Hart is cleaning house as that is Upton, Jason Hayward, and Kris Medlen as the Braves Science Project has left the premises!

Upton at just 27 years old hit .270 for the Chop Shop 404 in 2014 with 29 bombs and 102 ribbies. Now he will take those numbers joining ex-Rays now Padres OF Wil Myers (87 gms .222 avg 6 HR 35 RBI) and ex-Dodgers OF Matt Kemp (150 gms .287 avg 25 HR 89 RBI). If everyone stays healthy playing north of 145 games in 2015 the Friars should be playing near the top of the NL West with then Dodgers and Gigantes!

J. Upton has one year left on his former D-Backs/Braves Contract at $14.5 million...
