On a day where the North Carolina Tar Heels are playing in the House Air Jordan built the United Center and where Jordan Retros are king the Tar Heels sneak by the Ohio State Buckeyes 82-74. It wasn't how you draw it up as the Heels were rarely threatened as they torched that Buckeyes Match Up 2-3 Zone.

The Heels used their inside presence which is why the Buckeyes playing relatively smaller in the Paint went zone the whole game for the most part. UNC "Bigs" like Brice Johnson (18 pts 9 rebs) and Kennedy Meeks (8 pts 13 rebs) took full advantage of the Buckeyes lack of size in  the paint. That also led to a 53-39 advantage on the glass for the Tar Heels. UNC All-American PG Marcus Paige chipped in with 16 points as smooth as he is. Carolina Custodian (Jack of all Trades) J.P. Tokoto had 8 points, eight boards, six helpers, and two thefts showing his versatile floor game.

The Buckeyes were led by Sophomore Marc Loving and his game-high 19 points including 5 for 9 from the "Magnificeint Mile" in Downtown Chi-City. Chicago Native and Whitney-Young H.S. Alum Sam Thomspon added 17 points for the Buckeyes showing his Nerf Rim like capabilities on a few dunks!

The 'Heels not playing well in December needed this game before the break moving to 8-3. The Buckeyes fall to 9-2 as Buckeyes Nation awaits 'Bama in the Sugar Bowl for all to see!
