A shootout in that weather as the Atlanta Falcons might have given up 43 but they did score 37 and the numbers put up in this one screams Lambeau September/October. The Packers hang on late but Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan went toe to toe and A-Rog won the game but Ryan for whatever its worth won the numbers battle.

The Packers score on their first four possessions of the game moving up 24-7 highlighted by a Morgan Burnett INT that Falcons QB Matt Ryan still wish he had back when the score was 17-7 Packers. The Pack scored on drives of 81 and 80 yards and throw in am Mason Crosby FG and short field of 15 yards the Packers were at it again.

A-Rog threw for 327 yards on 24 for 36 and three TD's. His #1 target Jordy Nelson racked up 146 yards and two TD's hauling in eight Wilson pig skins. Both Eddie Lacy and James Starks combined for 148 yards on 23 carries and two TD's. That was the perfect recipe for the weather and the Falcons to win the ball game.

To the Falcons credit they didn't keep giving it to that Packers "D" as "Matty Ice" threw for 375 yards on 24 for 39 and four TD's and an INT. My 2nd favorite WR outside of Steelers A.B. #84 Julio Jones of the "Peach Drop 3" grabbed 11 pigs for 259 yards and a TD as separating him and Bengals WR AJ Green in the same sentence would be very difficult. Ironically enough they were both 2 of the Top 5 HS Football Prospects in the country when they came out the same year. Both Roddy White and Harry Douglas the other two of the "Peach Drop 3" both scored TD's.

Now the Falcons move to 5-8 and still lead the NFC south with Pittsburgh coming into the Georgia Dome on Sunday. The Packers will be in the Bison City vs the Bills Mafia.
