It wasn't pretty but the Hawks Focus is getting two points like in every game you lace them up. The Minnesota Wild came in full of steam and took it right to the Hawks in the Madhouse in Period One. They scored at the 14:19 mark as Charlie Coyle "Lit the Lamp" to make it 1-0 Wild.

In Frame 2 it was a Ben Smith Wrister at 2:19 to make it 1-1 as Smith along with Patrick Sharp, Brandon Saad, and Marian Hossa have to pick up the pieces out there left from the absence left from #19 and #88. The Hawks then strike in the 3rd as Bryan Bickell gets a Wrister to go in right in front of the Blue Paint to make it 2-1 Hawks. The Wild with just under two minutes remaining gets a Wrister from Erik Haula that surprised Craw-Dad on his Glove Side and trickled in from some 25 feet to make it 2-2.

The Extras Frame saw nothing happening as we went into a Shootout. The Hawks Sharp missed first along with Wild Alternate Captain Zach Parise. Marian Hossa then blasted one right through the Glove of Wild Net Minder and Russian Ilya Bryzgalov to make it 1-0. The Wild Captain Mikko Koivu missed as we went to the #3rd and final shot. Hawks Ben Smith could have iced it as he missed everything taking the Elevator. Then Craw-Dad made it three stops in a row as he stopped the Wild's Jason Pominville and that was Crawford's Redeem Team Act 101. Corey "Craw-Dad" Crawford stopped 25 of 27 shots moving to 30-15-10 in the 2013-14 season.

Hawks grab two points moving to 101 points and move on as the Wild grabs a point moving to 90 points and 5th overall in the West. Fear the Indian Head moves out to Columbus, Ohio tonight for their Tilt on Friday Night at Nationwide Arena against the Jackets.
