The Boston Bruins are capable of doing what they did tonight as the Wings probably though going into the 3rd frame is there  Net and a Lamp we are shooting at. The Spokes quietly like only the B's can blank the Powerful "Red Army" of the Continental U.S. 3-0 and takes a 2-1 lead in the best of seven series.

To make matters worse you can win if you can't score and if you don't put the Frozen One on Net somewhere in the vicinity of the "Blue Paint". The Bruins "D" led by Slovakia's Zdeno Chara held the Wings to just 23 shots on net. The Wings 12 shots at Rask out shot their total both the 1st and 3rd (1st Period 4 shots/3rd Period 7 Shots) as the Spokes get 33 shots on net and three got past Wings Net Minder Jimmy Howard.

The Wings at times were too cute in the Spokes End with the Puck instead of shooting they were looking to make that spectacular play when you just need top shoot the darn thing and let the Bruins scramble to stop it. Bruins 20-year old Defenseman Dougie Hamilton scored on a Power Play Goal in the 1st to make it 1-0 Bruins. The Spokes struck again in Period 1 on RW Jordan Caron's snap shot to make it 2-0 and for Rask and that "D"...good luck Wings!

Spokes up 2-1 in the best of seven...
