The Brooklyn Nets showed all that Veteran Prowess as they go into a raucous Air Canada Center after Dinosaurs GM Masai Ujiri had said in a Pre-Game Pep Rally , " F*%& Brooklyn". The Nets promptly said "Ditto" Ujiri and the Raptors as the Nets take a 1-0 lead in the best of seven by the score of 94-87.

Brooklyn and Toronto playing nip and tuck for the majority of the game as the Nets took control late as like most analyst figured they would. Paul Pierce had 9 of his 15 points in the 4th. The Nets rode 2013-14 All-Star Joe Johnson early and often as he led with 24 points, eight boards, and four helpers. He also was the facilitator for that Nets Offense as Nets PG D-Will also had 24 points.

The Raptors needed All-Star Demar DeRozan to play big and he looked "Dinosaur in the Headlights" for the majority of the game. D2 shot 3 for 13 from the field including 0 for 4 from the Arc and had just 14 points. Both Kyle Lowry (22 pts 7 rebs 8 asst) and Greivis Vasquez (18 pts 8 asst) carried the Offensive Load for the Dinosaurs but they needed help and didn't get any. Raptors 17 turnovers to the Nets 8...that cannot happen after a home-cooked meal.

Now Game 2 isn't until Tuesday April 22 back in Toronto as the Raptors have a few days to figure it out. The Nets already stealing Home Court can really turn it up if they can also get game #2.
