I told you earlier in the Game 2 Preview that someone off that Blazers Bench was going to have to be big other than Mo Williams and I was dead on. Dorell Wright was huge and the Blazers go into the Toyota Center and get game 2 and that Red Nation enthusiasm is a wash right now.

The Blazers beat Houston 112-105 as they still have not figured out a way to slow down or even contain LaMarcus Aldridge dba L-Train. He goes for 43 points and eight rebounds in Game 2 after getting 46 points and eighteen rebounds in Game 1. Damian Lillard added just 18 points on 3 of 14 shooting but eight rebounds and eleven helpers. Enter SF Dorell Wright off the Blazers Bench as he goes for 15 points on 3 of 4 from the Arc and all of that fifteen was in a critical late 3rd and early 4th frame moments. The former DePaul Blue Demon Commit when then the Demons were coached by Dave Leitao never go to the DePaul Campus as he entered the NBA straight from High School in out in L.A.. Rip City shot an amazing 24 for 27 from the Free Throw Line and then Rockets are just having match up problems all over the place.

Dwight goes for 32 points and fourteen boards with James Harden adding 18 points on 6 of 19 shooting. All five Rockets Starters were in double figures but Omer Asik, Francisco Garcia, and Jeremy Lin were the only other Rocket Players who saw action. That Omer Asik guarding L-Train Experiment...put that up and just run double teams at Aldridge and hope someone misses. Red Nation Lead Man Kevin McHale is getting his pocket picked by Rip City Lead Man Terry Stotts...period point blank! Rockets shooting just 3 for 16 from the Arc when the Money Ball is a big part of their arsenal isn't going to get them very far either.

Game 3 is Friday April 25th on a quick turnaround at 10:30pm ET...Rockets need to get the heck out of Clutch City to clear their heads for those two in the Rose City ASAP!
