The New York Mets trying to salvage at least one from the Nats after losing to both Strasburg and Gonzalez started on the right footing,. The Amazins' hit Washington Starter Tanner Roark in the first frame with a 2 spot. After that though it was the Nats doing what the NL East Favorites do...playing Division-Winning Hardball!

Nats Hot Corner Ryan Zimmerman got the party started off of Amazins' RHP Zack Wheeler with a Solo Bomb in the top of the 2nd to make it 2-1 Mets. Both Starters calmed down down with routine 3rd and 4th frames as the Nats score two in the 5th and four in the 7th after Wheeler already hist the showers after six. Zim was 4 for 5 knocking in two scoring one leading the Nats Attack. Adam LaRoche accounted for three RBIs as his two-run single was of the Nats Pen in the 7th. The Nats added one more in the 8th to cap the scoring at 8-2. Nats pounded out 13 hits on Mets Pitching!

Nats Starter Tanner Roarke gets the "W" and goes six allowing two runs as he walked three and struck out five. Wheeler the supposed other side of Mets Phenom Matt Harvey took the "L" giving up three runs on seven hits while walking two and striking out six.

Nats sweep the Series and moves to 3-0 while the Amazins' fall to 0-3...as that NL East might be a Two-Trick Pony involving the Nats and the Chop Shot 404 in Braves Country!
