There is a method the Boston Red Sox Madness if you want to call it that or the lack of madness just sound business decisions. The Red Sox this week alone lose a Franchise-Type CF in Jacoby Ellsbury as he signed with the rival Bombers for north of $150 million. They also lose Back Stop and highly-overrated Jarrod Saltalamacchia to the Fightin' Fish for just over $21 million for 36 months. The Red Sox didn't break a sweat as they lose Red Sox Nation Favs for just good sound Forty-Man Roster Business seemingly going in the right direction.

Remember when the Bo Sox cleaned house after the Team "Chicken & Beer" Mess that Red Sox Nation had to endure under Bobby Valentine and they had to be thinking we can't go from the Penthouse to the Port-A-Potty and they didn't. They do a Blockbuster Trade with the Boys from Chavez Ravine as they both Win/Win and were two of the last four teams playing in the 2013 Fall Classic Tourney. When the smoke cleared from that it cleared up Checks & Balances. Would you be shocked if I told you the Yankees have $100 Million of Payroll committed for 2016 and the Carmines just $16 million and 80% of that is Second Baseman Dustin Pedroia.

The Yanks do Business on Splash and Dash and they can forecast the future. that is not taking a shot at Team 27 Chips but more reality. The Bo Sox on the other hand are worried about 2014 and some 2015 but no way and heck will they commit to 2016 and that is just being fiscally responsible and will keep you in any Free Agent Market whether it is a buyers or sellers market. There was no way they were going to pay Ellsbury that kind of cash when he has played in just under 60% of his Total Games. Saltalamacchia is a solid #2 but in no way is he a solid #1 hence they Carmines go get A.J. Pierzynski who even over 35 years of age is as good as they come handling a Staff and the Maple, Ash, or Bamboo at the Dish.

Now as we watch the so called "Hot Stove" Movement...watch what the Carmines do in their Methodical Approach not worrying so much about what is looks like to everyone but what their Clubhouse looks like.

Carmines Business
