I have seen a few things in my day but nothing quite like this from a 53-Man Roster standpoint. The Denver Broncos are banged yup every where and with CB Champ Bailey out at least until maybe Week 2 the Broncos are taking some interesting preventive measures.

United in Orange have kept Eleven Defensive Backs on the 53-Man Roster and take that Nickel, Dime, and Prevent Packages. That play last season obviously still resonates through the Broncos Complex and here is how it breaks down for the New Orange Crush.

Broncos Depth Chart as of September 2, 2013 in the Secondary:

Broncos New D the 10-1 DIME Package consists of one NT, eight Corners, and two Safeties

Starters

LCB Champ Island
SS D. Ihenacho
FS R. Moore
RCB D. Rodgers-Cromartie

2nd Wave

LCB C. Harris
SS Mike Adams
FS D. Bruton
RCB T. Carter

3rd Wave (They should've been waived..Lol)

LCB Q. Jammer
FS O. Bolden
RCB K. Webster

Now looking at this real close FS Rahim Moore was playing that "Superbad" Mc-Lovin-Like "D" vs Ravens WR Jacoby Jones when he caught the Bomb to tie the ball game. Moore is still penciled in but  the other starting Safety Mike Adams has since moved to the 2nd wave of reinforcements. Broncos really...is that playing it safe or are you going to cut five of those players after the Ravens come to town?

Look quick solution let's call Ellsworth, Iowa CC and Rocky Top Tennessee Great CB as well as Kansas City Chief CB Dale Carter #34. Then call Ronnie Lott's Roommate at USC Dennis Smith #49.  Finally call Arkansas Razorback Great Strong Safety Steve "Smiling Assassin" Atwater and leave D.C.R. in at RCB.  Now we can fill the rest of the 53-Man Roster with real needs.

If the Broncos get lit up on September 5th vs the Ravens and Ordinary Joe Flacco...just forget about it!
