The Nats will begin the Trek of trying to get to the NLCS but the Road unfortunately for them goes through the 2011 Fall CLassic Champs and Baseball Town USA...St. Louis Cardinals.

They say on any Level especially the Professional Experience is of Virtue and the Nats Skipper Davey Johnson has an abundance even though it has been awhile but his Roster does not. The Redbirds on the other hand went all the way to the Promised Land and they have all their Guns except El Hombre Albert Puljos but who needs him he is sitting in his Man Cave and watching. Will Experience or lack thereof work for or against the Redbirds or Nats.

NATS vs REDBIRDS NLDS Series Preview

NATS come into the NLGS minus One of the Their Top Guns by choice as S2 of the Potomac 2-Pack Stephen Strasburg is shutdown for the Season and I wonder if his Direct Deposit is also shut down. The Nats still have 2012 NL Cy Young Hopeful LHP G2 of the Potomac 2-Pack and the Left Side in Gio Gonzalez (pictured right) and he will be going in Game 1. The other Nats Starters will be heavily watched as they all move up 1 Spot in the Rotation.

Line Up wise they are led by Vets Adam LaRoche, Zimmerman, Desmond, Jayson Werth, and Young Phenom Bryce Harper. The Positive for the Nats is they don't rely on the Middle of their Line Up they rely on each other. The Whole Line Up can hurt you at any given time and for a Pitcher the Concentration Level must stay on its Highest Level going through Nats Line Up. If the Nats have an Edge its that they have enough Vets mixed in with Youth to get it done.

REDBIRDS are coming off of a 6-3 Victory in the NL Play-In Game in ATL on Friday and they have Loads of Confidence. Having won last season with almost the same line up has given them the Luxury of nothing is too big too overcome. They will throw Wainright (pictured left) in Game 1 and they have Lynn and Lohse behind Wainright who are the Redbirds 1 and 2. They also have a Closer in Motte and that gives them a decided edge in the Bullpen over the Nats.

Offensively they have Holliday, Molina, Freese, and Beltran around a solid Core of Hitters that play NL Type Baseball. Comparing the Two Lineups I would give the Edge to the Redbirds based on Overall Experience but it is really close. They don't have to worry about Strasburg which gives the Redbirds a little more Confidence going into the Series.

Winner of the Series: The REDBIRDS as that having been there in 2011 to the Mountain Top pays off for the Redbirds...The Nats will need Strasburg the Baseball Gods don't like Ugly
