The SF Giants Fans had to bethinking when Reds Ace Johnny Cueto went out after the 1st Hitter it was going to be Prince and 1999. What they didn't think was the Red Legs would be prepared to handle such a Situation. Having Dusty Baker and his Staff over there in that Reds Dug Out is the Main Reason they have entered the Playoff for the 2nd Year in a Row and then add GM Walt Jocketty (STL RedBirds GM behind LaRussa's Great Teams) ....#StraightButta on the Ohio for the Red Legs.

Enter Reds RHP Mat Latos and his 4 Innings of Work 1 Run and a Red Legs Bullpen that is Tight as a Ziploc....Gigantes your down  0-1.

Red Legs 2B Brandon Phillips (pictured right) got it crack-a-lackin' in the 3rd when he took a Matt Cain Express and deposited it in the Left Field Power Alley just over the Seats and a Crooked 2-Run Big Fly went up. They then tacked on another Run when Red Legs OF Jay Bruce went Yard off of Cain in the 4th Inning. That was all that was needed on a Night like Tonight as Dusty them turned it over to his Bullpen and they locked it down like they have all season with the Cuban Electric and Gas Company LHP Aroldis Chapman getting the Save.

The Gigantes eventually put a Couple of Runs on the Board but by then it was too late. Phillips and Bruce were the Hitting Stars for the Red Legs and the Gigantes by No Stretch are finished with all, that Grade A Starting Pitching.
